What are my verification options?

Dealflow offers two simple options to satisfy our one-time identity verification requirement

1. Complete automated ID Verification through Sum&Substance (Avg. 5-10 minutes)
2. Schedule an interview with a Dealflow representative for manual ID verification (Avg. 1-2 days)

How many times do I need to complete verification?

You only need to verify your account one time; once verified, we won’t ask you for additional verification.

What details will I need to provide?

You must present a government issued photo ID. In rare circumstances we may ask for additional documentation to substantiate your identity

I’m having trouble getting verified, who can I contact for help?

If you have tried auto-verification or manual-verification but something isn’t working right, please message us through our contact us page and a member of the Dealflow team will be happy to assist you.

What is auto-verification?

Auto verification is the quickest mode of verification we offer. To complete auto verification you will simply need to take a “selfie” while holding a government issued photo ID, as illustrated in the image below.

The Sum&Substance software performs authenticity analysis on the ID document provided, while facial recognition technology compares the face in the image of the ID with the face of the individual holding the ID to determine if they are a match. Finally, personal data is checked against databases of known scammers, and the identity is ether verified or rejected.

Is Sum&Substance a licensed company?

Yes Sum&Substance is a GDPR compliant UK software and technology company (Company Registration Number: 09688671) specialized in remote KYC/AML identity verification systems. It was founded in 2015 by Andrey Severyukhin and Peter Sever and is regulated by the Information Commissioner and registered as a data controller on the Data Protection Register (number ZA222205.)

Is the information I provide encrypted?

Yes, all data generated in Sum & Substance Reports is fully encrypted at rest and in transit using 256-bit SSL encryption

Will the information I provide you be stored in your database, and if so, for how long?

By default all data you submit is stored on Sum&Substance’s secure Amazon servers for at least 5 years. If you would like to cancel your Dealflow account and request the removal of your data, please send us a message via our contact us page.

What happens if my auto-verification is denied?

You may request manual identity verification.

I submitted my auto-verification and it has been pending for more than 30 minutes, what should I do?

In rare occurrences, an auto ID verification request may be flagged for manual review. In these cases it can take up to 24 hours for a decision to be made on your account. If you have submitted your ID verification through SumSub but the status hasn’t changed in more than 30 minutes, consider requesting manual verification or contacting us for help via our contact page.

How can I schedule my manual ID verification interview?

To schedule a manual ID verification interview via Skype, simply follow the steps below.

1. Request a manual interview via the ID verification dashboard in the registration funnel.

2. Check your email for a message from “info@dealflowbrokerage.com”

3. The email should contain a calendly link, and you can use that to schedule your interview. Please note, you must provide a valid Skype name.

What materials do I need to have on-hand for the call?

You must have a government issued photo ID on-hand for the call. In rare circumstances, a Dealflow representative may request additional documentation to substantiate your identity.
